Thought this would be a good idea for those who are bored and want to help out the scene and make a useful tutorial :D

Requesting Tutorial:
Reply back to this thread with what kind of tutorial you would like to see posted by someone.

Please be specific in your request(s) (not too broad i.e How do I install Linux and emulators etc..). Also make sure you are not asking for a tutorial that has already been done (if you are asking for a more accurate, or requesting a tutorial to be updated then that is fine).

Creating a Tutorial:
If you would like to submit/create a tutorial we request you follow a few guidelines below:

Give credit to original author if you are taking it from another website.
Do not Link-Post tutorials (I.e Go to this site to learn how to do this)
Use proper grammar and English when posting tutorials, completed with pictures (when needed).
Clean, easy to read layout.

i'll try to take a diode out and to the store to look for the same size. i don't have a tiny screwdriver right now. if i find some and manage to change them i'll write it. finding is the harder part :rolleyes:
can't be harder than what i went through to fix it when i took L2 apart. i need smaller fingers :laugh:
btw anyone want the link to psn account management? you'd just need the modified and extra headers from my last tutorial.

edit: these 1.8mm LEDs aren't sold at retail stores here. i found some on the internet, but they're too small for my soldering iron. the task is even simpler than the button LED and if you just open it up you'll see what needs to be done, but it's costly and requires a steady hand.

how to bypass 1.90 f/w check on NEW cod4 US? new- since i think the old hack has been patched thru some new cod4 discs out.

tried disc swap with rfom but no luck.

im on NTSC US f/w 1.32. even purchased rfom US and still nothing. did the hack but just goes back to xmb after save/quit on rfom, cod4 still requires update.

im thinking i need to find an old cod4 disc to do the disc swap successfully? seems like a hit or miss.

I think a tutorial should be created to teach people how to use forums properly,i see people posting unsuitable comments without reading the full thread,if people took the time to read the full thread,then we might not see unnecessary posts.

I would really like to see a tutorial on how to get good network sniffing with the PS3. I saw hat maybe there was one before, but maybe it went along with the old server and i didn't get a chance to see it. I've tried myself but can't find anything that specifies for the PS3. Thanks. :)
