Hi can you please help?
PS3 (v4.3 Rogero CFW) (v2.03) (v4.31 spoofed)(60GB)---> Restore PS3 System..??
PS3 keeps freezing after the rogero logo,
i have gone into recovery menu i have been through the process of rebuild database and restore system but still gets stuck after the rogero logo boots up..
What shall i do
If i was to go into 'Restore PS3 system' in recovery menu and put 4.30 rogero v(2.03) on a flash drive will it work that way...?? Thanks

i tried putting the restore_vflash on ubs then type sh restore_vfash.sh in the petitboot shell but it does nothing. i also use both usb ports and petitboot says file not found ect.
it can't be this hard just missing one key thing... can any one help with this?
am i not in the right directory to start with???

IF YOU HAVE THE TROPHY REGISTATION ERROR ON OTHEROS++ (AND PROBABLY ALL OTHER CFW)
HERE IS THE FIX
YOU NEED TO USE PS3MFW BUILER TO REBUILD YOUR .PUP FILE
YOU MUST CHECk THE OPTION TO ( Patch all selp/sprk to secure privacy )
HOPE THIS HELPSi USED THE PS3MFW DOWNLOAD FROM THE OFFICAL REBUG WEBSITE
THE NORMAL PS3MFW WOULD FAIL TO REBUILD THE FIRMWARE WITH ERRORS.
I HAD TO REINSTALL THREW THE RECOVERY MENU,THE XMB SYSTEM UPDATE ATTEMPT FAIL THOUGH.

Sorry, have to test it on this latest OOS++ CFW. I have only been on Debian/Ubuntu this week. I will put my backup back asap. Worked on kmeaw before this way.

maybe the problem is the original pup used for building OtherOS++ CFW? Maybe for other region and that is causing problems?

I seem you remember you saying you making a backup of /home with the users trophies there.

In that case, is it possible for you to create a new profile that has no trophies at all (something like a blank account) and upload for me to work with? I hope it can restore the trophies issue.
