Also some of the games have an EDAT file, and they are supposed to be placed in the PS3: dev_hdd0/home/00000001/exdata location. Now i'm aware that I just need to create such a folder but where do I do it? In the external HDD? In the GAMEZ folder? I created one outside the GAMEZ folder and placed the EDAT files there but it lead to no difference in the actual game which still remains a demo?

Thanks for all the help you provided till date. I'm ( hopefully) a little more savvy on the ps3 scene than I was 2 months ago. If you don't mind I have two questions to ask...I have a few backups of PSN arcade games Xmen and Castle Crashers. I also have the corresponding pkg files for the same. When I install both of them, the game refuses to start and has the failed to boot error. If I uninstall the crack pkg, the game leads me to the psn store. Any idea how to fix this?
