just so you know you can use multi-users with the same e-mail/id/pass.. simple xreg edit, access store so it should be the full works, xreg-plus makes it easy.
Saving my 1000 for a old star wars game i'm working on.

i replaced the silk folders and web rco's from 4.21 to 3.55 no errors and a flash test said i am running 9.0.159 but went a bit french and the web side menu moved down so lower options became unusable, i wonder if we could dump the whole resource folder from 4.21? the xml and rco's have no signing so it should work.

Hay bud i found a link in 4.21 for some open source ps3 stuff, interested in the webbrowser for 3.55, DEFAULTDNB said your the guy with the sdks to send it too..

i was just going to back my flash up and try the silk folders from 4.21.

I have a question. I've edited file software_update_plugin.rco to remove the line "Update via Internet" .After copied edited file back to PS3. The line "Update via Internet" has gone but if i press X button the PS3 auto searching update file from internet. Why ? So i want it completed remove from System Update setting and the PS3 automatic choose the line "Update via Storage Media" (highlight on that text).
