New PS3 Boot screen Firmware 3.0?
 

With Sony ditching the old Spiderman style PlayStation 3 logo it would only make sense that the PS3 boot screen would feature their "new" PS3 logo. A video appeared on Youtube showing off the new PS3 update (probably a early released PS3 slim).

Chances are the new PS3 FW 3.0 will bring this change on the phat PS3's.

if you wanted that feature, you should have bought a launch model like i did.....i love my 60gb laucnh,,..even tho there is a 320gb in there now...

This is not firmware 3.0.
As far as I know, it would start at "What's New" section. This video shows the ps3 slim starting at "Game" section.

Maybe they will change the boot screen on the next update, but this one isn't already the third version of the firmware.

Some people say that Sony might change it on the old PS3 in fw 3.0

I wonder when FW 3.0 comes out... after they've sold a million or so PS3 Slims?

I thought they had said September 1st.
