Re: Bypass Content Restriction Method Found!
Would this method work to enable running PAL on NTSC (or vice versa) ? Or is this something that is actively hard-coded onto the PS3?
Would this enable running PAL PS1 / PS2 games on my Japanese NTSC machine ! :-) SP |

Re: Bypass Content Restriction Method Found!
I was just wondering, how does this mean you are on the verge of finding the first "hello world". Indeed you have accomplished something, but was this the result of malforming a tiff ad random or using real code, in which case writing a hello world would be a piece of cake?

Can it be played "YES" or "NO" is the question
For the love of GOD this question has come about more times then I can count.
Alot of people ask can the backups be played or not the answer latetly has been a solid NO. Now I come across this information. So this throw the magical question back up in the air Can the backups be played YES OR NO make a sticky or something so we are not all confused about this question and keep the status of it updated so we all have one place to check all the time instead of multi threading the same post by Pirate on August 14, 2007, 05:30:05 PM GeKKo has seemed to have found a small discovery over in the possible TIFF exploit topic . So insert Rainbow Six: Vegas, open the folder with the TIFF inside, start the game, swap the discs and then remove the Memory Stick. Nothing special but it works PS3Rips from Team PS3HaX, has also confirmed this method to work (using diffrent games), this is what he did: Quote from: PS3Rips |
Re: Can it be played "YES" or "NO" is the question
the answer is no.
that exploit just lets one bypass the parental controls of a system, allowing one to play games that are above their level of restriction. |
