Hi everyone, in our continued effort to provide the best, most comprehensive entertainment experience possible, we?ll be adding a few new features to PlayStation 3 (PS3) via the latest system software update, which is a mandatory update and will be available shortly. Most notably, you?ll see some new sorting options within Trophies that make it easier to claim bragging rights among your friends on PlayStation Network.

Trophy enhancements ?- Now you can more easily sort trophies in the [Trophy Collection] and [Comparing Trophy] sections. Sorting can be done with [Trophy Collection] in the [Game Category] and also when comparing trophies with your friends in the [Friend Category]
Trophy Folder (Title List) can be sorted by game name/ by title according to the date in which you earned your last trophy (ascending/descending)

Add-on list (Group list) can be sorted by original/the date in which you earned your last trophy (ascending/descending)

Trophy list can be sorted by original/trophy name/grade/date of obtaining the trophy (ascending/descending)

In addition, this update preps the PS3 system for some upcoming new features, including 3D stereoscopic gaming, which is coming soon to PS3, in time for the launch of Sony?s 3D BRAVIA TVs.

Yeah, I don't think Geohot is gonna fix this one :-/

If I get my partial refund from Best Buy, I'm just gonna say screw it and update.

Somehow it just feels that the OO CFW won't be released too soon, if ever... Too much time to "test" a working CFW sadly.
And now a totally new fw version to play around. Even if he releasess 3.21OO, now it's useless and he has to start over. Sad...

I'm really close to update form 3.15... but I'm still waiting for some official Geohot announcement... but he looks like he have PS3 scene in ass

there has been tweets from him but nothing about the ps3. i think he just sold out (because he can't get around the psn connection)and has no balls to tell people he did. but he did show us that is is possible to have the other os in a later FW(but most likely no psn) . so i say if there was a way then be up to the rest of us to figure it out. as i'm stuck with only a new slim 250gb, i can't help at all except speculate. but my ideas an't going to waste there is a group working on it, no word yet but have given them some ideas. so if he does make it official that it is out i will eat my words. until then i respectfully won't update because the hole is there just not used.

You can also sort by Trophy grade, too, so all your Plats can sit at the top.

Despite a reasonable update list, version 3.30 was mostly tweaks and additions to the software development kit, changes that we as consumers won’t be seeing for a little while yet. Recent such SDK changes include a smaller footprint for the firmware, and although there’s no games that yet use the extra RAM now available, the improvements were welcomed by developers.

I'm wait enough . Sony released another FW and i cant Log to PSN and PLAY Online.

Let me repeat this so that my stance is clear:

GeoHot... is an ASS.

He's just another ego maniacal jerk who just happened to hit the big time riding on the popularity of Apple products. Why he even bothered to show up on the PS3 scene just to get our OtherOS removed and our Proxies disabled is beyond me... but clearly the thousands of people on PSN weren't enough to stroke his ego compared to the millions of "iWhatever" users.

Just because he's a smart jerk doesn't make him any less of a jerk.

I think Geohot is gonna fix this, just wait...
