PS3Stinger - Another PSJailbreak Clone

The clones just keep rolling in. Today on PSX-Scene, one of their members announced a new clone in the works known as PS3Stinger, promising a cheap alternative and to not "sting" you with a high price. While we must admit it does sound fishy, we urge our members to not go and buy their product until there is solid evidence that it is indeed a legitimate source.

They currently do not have a website (in the works), but do have a twitter page, and one tweet:

PS3Stinger is expected to ship around September 15. When asked about the prices this is the email sent:

yeah, and go to one of the UK sites listed in their email, and the only thing u see if PS3JailBreak!!!!
if all these "CLONES" are coming out, then why have no other devs been able to just say "we got one, we cloned it, here's how to do it" ????????

I have a theory that all the clones are in fact from the very same guys that has made PSJailbreak. Would be a pretty good way to make money to make different ones. To release something very innovative at first which proves legit, and then release some cheaper alternatives with different names which later proves to be legit also. Now they have created som competition with themselves so to speak and people will probably come around to buying the cheaper alternatives. It's always easier to make a decision to buy something if it's cheaper than something that does the same thing.

My theory is that the retailers who has a sample must of gave the dongle to a hacker who their close in friendship. having them the ability to clone them.

i believe clones came from the same psjailbreak group , just because their product got a

bad reputation and cant be up dateable.

that doesn't explain about the "ps3key" clone though. the people who made wiikey are making those.

for some reason i dont get why people want to buy this thing ?

they will be blocked by the next update ! besides get banned .
