PS3proxy is not working help
 

Heres my problem i recently downloated PS3proxy i get as far as

Press OK when you are done

and nothing happens, task manager recognizes ps3proxy.exe to be active and running yet i have no accessability to the program at all aka no splash screen, window, or taskbar icon of any sort.

Now before everyone starts telling me to download .NET framework 1.1 (done that)

This program does not work on my laptop or either of the 3 of my desktop computers so its not a hardware error.

The only thing i haven't done is rub chicken blood on my computer, any help would be greatly appreciated.

This happened to me 9on XP), I just waited a while, and it started to work again. (About 2-4 weeks later).

do you have any firewalls/ securitysoftware that may be stopping the program from opening ?

i'm havin a few problems with proxy too, it seems to crash/freeze on the PC when i start downloading on the PS3 from the store. if i stop the download on the ps3 then proxy comes back to life again, and starts working.

damn and blast, i really wanted to get the full super rub-a-dub working!

i don't know if the orignal designer of ps3proxy even still supports it but there are some major design flaws in the software and if there is an alternative way to install .pkg files i would love to know.

(giving up on ps3proxy)

you mean you haven't tried chicken blood? man what are you doing?

there are two different versions of ps3proxy - one good and one you're using

get the ps3proxygui installer ENGLISH - it's by C5f3B - or something like that - it is awesome.... the other one, the one you are trying, is a waste of time.....

WAIT WAIT - i forgot to mention - i don't know what firmware it supports - i still use 1.6 - thanks to this magical program - i can use the store online whatever, and i can re link demos from local sources, however i can't run them......

another update - i'm now on 1.8 - still no problems - have to install games via the f@h link but otherwise still great - i don't see why it won't allow fw bypass for any fw
