Re: new tiff exploit
I'm calling fake on this one - I think there is two ps3's one which is hooked to the TV and the one we can see.
The reason for this is that he runs the Tiff file and then ejects the disc from the ps3 without anything on the menu and without pressing the eject button. 7 PS3(1) = the machine is hooked to a TV we can't see and this machine is used for distraction purposes only ps3(2) = the one hooked up to the TV which the games are running on. |
Re: new tiff exploit
I can hardly believe you can play a PS2 backup when it still says it is a PS3 disk. You can see it on the disc icon.

Re: new tiff exploit
yeah its obviously fake.. if it was real he'd show all the steps, besides even if it was real... it looks amazing, i could spend 9 thousand dollars to play a 50 dollar game, talk about a bargain!

Re: new tiff exploit
Its possible with emotion engine/firmware 1.51JP no ?
|
Re: new tiff exploit
yes its possible the ps3 still reads the disc as ps3 when its a ps2 disc thats in it.. in one of my posts wit the tiff exploit that team hax made and usin the hard drive pull out i could remove the disc which was ps3 an then swap it wit a ps2 game and then put the drive back in a hit x to coninue to run the ps3 game but it would just boot back to the xmb because i had to hit eject on the console so the ps3 new to reread the disc for false game.. if u notice his tiff seems to do what team hax did but an extra step where the tiff ejects the disc wit codes which means that the ps3 maybe does do a disc check again an still thinks its a ps3 game :)

Re: new tiff exploit
If it does a disc check again it would realise that its a backup and then show as a data disc.
|
Re: new tiff exploit
If he had code to eject the disc he woundnt need to do a disc swap
|
Re: new tiff exploit
No - this code (eject disc via software) is not known except by offical devs.
Its Fake. |
