PKG encryption

i've recently been working on $ony'$ encryption and have found something interesting...
i don't know i did i...but i used a personal encryption decryption program on my mac and it seemed to open this file
it is a commercially available one which i downloaded...and i can view some of these files and actually delete segments
i read a bit futher into this rsa type encryption and by the sounds its a $ony viable algorithim. Like seen on the wii elyptic etc
:-\ but thats all i know...more help would be great...from ppl interested...pm me...

If we had firmware dumps we would have already had homebrew by now.

Plus this is Sony we are talking about that encryption method will be so tight it will be nearly impossible to do it in your own lifetime.

Re: PKG encryption

Start developing for the PS3 then. Thats if you have any programming experience whatsover. Not just open a file up with a decryption program.
