NOTE: THIS IS TO BYPASS THE V3.6 FW ON PS3! YOU CAN ONLY DO THIS BYPASS IF YOU ARE ON V3.56 FW ON YOUR PS3.

This tutorial is showing you how to bypass the new V3.6 update, to stay on V3.56 and still be online without updating your PS3! (kinda the same as my old video, but this only works for V3.56 to bypass V3.6.) These are the steps you need to follow:

Step 1: Go onto Network Settings, then Internet Connection Settings.
Step 2: Select Custom and connect to your wi-fi as you would normally, and type the wep key, ect.
Step 3: Go across the settings untill you get to DNS, then STOP!
Step 4: Click on Manuel, and type in on both Primary and Secondary IP settings as 67.202.81.137
Step 5: Save and restart system.
Step 6: Sign in and it's all bypassed! :D


If you have updated your PS3 to v3.56, I would say it's best to stay on V3.56 with this bypass in the video. This is because they are planning to make a jailbreak for V3.56 with in a couple of months. :D

this method will work for a week at most,always does after a firmware update.

eh whats the point? if your on 3.56 your already on a un hackable firmware, so bypassing the 3.60 to get on psn doesnt really matter, just update to 3.60, no sense in holding out on a 3.56 firmware hack, cuz it isnt gonna happen

lol this has been know for a long time and you can use this dns trick on any Fw but it will only last so long...

it may have been well known for a while but you would be surprised how many times daily we get asked on IRC.
don't forget there are many new to the scene who don't want to update further on the chance of a 3.56 miracle happening.
