very cool but in my view there are already alot of good ps3 backup managers.
why not focus on more important things? maybe psx or ps2 backup managers, or at least get ps2 games working on this f--king 40gb ps3 -__-
wanna play my final fantasy x again. so frustrating

Or maybe add more functionality to it like a file browser and hex editor or add emulators like commedore etc.

He will most likely be added new features to this project.
You guys should be more thankful for what we already have on the PS3.

Please dont complain about "Released" stuff like this. You dont decide what projects the devs work on. Thats silly. If you find the release useful. Leave a thanks or suggestion, dont complain and beg for different releases.
This is a great release, so thanks

Yes thanks for the release,.. I was watching this project on the git... So what does syscall 8 support enable? I have some problems with a handful of games because I have a broken BDR, either that or the controller board is broken, pretty sure its the laser though. Anyone have any tips on dealing with backups on a system with a broken BDR? I managed to get every game working one way or anyother, usually by installing a pkg for it, but game updates are a problem, especially if an EBOOT or other self is included in a game update. I'm not trying to pirate here, I have downloaded a couple games truly for "educational" purposes, like modernwarfare 2, because I read it was cracked with the update and I wanted to see how they did it, because the file structure is very similar to
AC:Brotherhood, which is a game I own and have the disc for but have many issues getting it to work on my BDR-less ps3 (I ripped it off the disc on my friends ps3 with multiman).

i am not complaining at all. dont get me wrong. i am thankful for everything. and i wish i could help the scene somehow (yeah i know, donating is always possible). im just saying that we have the same tool like 10 times. thats not bad but i think the time has come to focus on more important things. it's not complaining, it's just an advice and an opinion.
im sure im not the only one with this opinion :)

Looks nice, is there anyone who can help me though? I cant get the source compiled in psl1ght :s plz pm me if you can help, would like to have a look at it and start playing with the code :) but that would be useless if I cant compile it.
