Wait to use this version. There are some issues getting into petitboot

Well I have made yet another version and all other versions have been removed. They were safe if you installed them but you may have ran into an issue if following gitbrew's tutorial on installing Linux. The other versions would allow you to do the vflash method but that is now obsolete. Version 4 will create a 22 gig partition if you install this pup. Just follow the tutorial here to install linux without trophy errors and with a 22 gig partition. I figured 22 was good because all we got when it was officially supported was 10 :p I would make a backup before installing as this will need to format your drive. The format only occurs if you restore PS3 system.

Just extract the rar to a USB stick and install. No need to place anything in particular folders and no need to rename anything, I have taken the liberty to do that for you for the sake of ease of use :)

You may or may not experience a a problem with these pups and recovery. If you are experiencing an issue download boot_gameos.pkg and reboot.pkg. Run bootgameos.pkg then when returned to the xmb run reboot.pkg. Your recovery issue will be solved. If you wish to install linux you will also need the boot_otheros.pkg, but that will make recovery run as petitboot again. These packages can be found in our download section or the git brew wiki: http://git.gitbrew.org/repos/

Any other releases you may see in this thread are considered obsolete.

i have tested this and can confirm it to be working just as well as any other cfw.

cool bobbyblunt as for qa flaging it will work just need to install the 2 pkgs from gitbrews repo.

one thing qa flagging doesn't work if you have ss disable on lv2, you need to enable it for it to work
