before i get excited, can we have a summary of what this actually does?

^ It's not a 3.72 custom firmware. All that was added to this firmware (can only be used to people on 3.55 or below) was the 3.72 spoof which will prevent the PS3 from updating itself.

ps3's dont update themselves. :P

Now I know dospiedras no check cfw restored blue ray playback on downgraded systems, does this one do that as well?

does this mean the patch and privacy lv1 will let you play games that are ofw 3.56 and above?

no it will not. the privacy patch is too keep the ps3 from "phoning home".

I'm going to give Demonhades just a moment longer before I call him on his bluff and try this out. By the looks of it I would have to reinstall this every time Sony does a system update. Would be nicer if there was just an upgrade for the spoof. This does play split files from an external doesn't it?

I'm pretty sure there is a system setting that turns auto update off? Cause my system never updates. Is that all that this does? I still not gonna change my firmware, otherwise I would be doin it all the time, no offence to the maker. How many more versions of 3.55 do we need? If something major or worth while was released maby then i would.. or does this CFW do something else that has not been noted in the details. I see nothing here but the same old thing but with a cool lil spoofer that will show in the system details to give the user a warm fuzzy. Correct me if i am wrong... but more info is needed in the description of these posts please: but i see nothing new so im not too excited about this at all. Hell I haven't even tried Rebug cause my current MFW does pretty much everything all the other ones do anyways.
