Update problem from version before 2.xxxx

Hi,

I have a problem upgrading Multiman into 2.xxx version. I use the automatic download for the new version with R3 and than the PS3 freezes and goes into some kind of safety mode.

Can u help?

try to delete the backup manager and install the latest version manually

wouldn't that delete all games from the internal drive?

no multiman wont delete your games only the old backup managers do that.

No, but if you delete multiMAN, it will delete the BDEMU, the downloaded themes and the cached games (the copy of the split files >4GB).

Try installing the FULL version from http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=24701
You don't need to delete anything. Just install it over your current version.

Thank you very much for the help. Before I read your post I deleted the old version. For the moment I cannot see any problem. Thank you again. I am on the latest version now - It has evolved very much in the past few months. It is great.
