possible solution for Uncharted 3 on 3.55 gamefreeze
 
What if someone can post a pdf with Drake's Journal? So everybody in spite of the game freeze can consult it drake's journal on his computer. Maybe could make a flash app/html page so the journal "evolves" (not spoiling anything) as it was through the game with sections like: chapter-level 1, 2, 3, 4.... what do you think?

Cool Idea, was just gonna try to find a vid or something when I got stuck in places where I need the journal.

but the game reguires drake to look at it automatically,so the games is gona screw up weather we like it or not.
cool idea but i dont see the point of it when we cant stop the game from freezing regardless of having this......online journal

It is an online journal? Even with a 50Gb game ?

Didn't know about chapter 9... Too bad. And would it be possible to implement the fix without the eboot? I mean, IF, the problem related to the journal is like a messed up file in some directory, can we just substitute the files containted in the 1.01 update .pkg with those in the directory of the game, with the exclusion of the eboot (we keep the decrypted one)? Or is the eboot itself that contains the drake's journal bug / the game wouldn't start anyway?

You can get pass chapter 9 with save files that are floating around, you'll start the game just after where it freezes, but it will freeze again on Chaper 11 after you go down the well/tank

then find a save past eleven... just let you know that this will never be fixed...

Yes it will. But trophies will be disabled.
