Alright, I had a ps3 for last year, i got 3.73 on it. I can't mod it right now, so got a Wii. PS3 is not gonna be used no more. After I went to the net, I found that PS4 is already in the making, gonna be released in less than 1 year 1 month.
What pisses me off is, WHAT THE HELL SONY????? U MAKE A CONSOLE AND THEN MAKE ANOTHER CONSOLE WITHIN <6 YEARS OF IT?????(for me its 1) WHAT THE HELL!!!! ISN'T IT SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE 7 OR 8 YEARS???? SCREW YOU SONY< YOU HATE HOMEBREW, YOU HATE CFW, YOU HATE YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!!

The cycle has always been around 5-6 years before the start of another generation. Just because Sony said the PS3 would last ten years doesn't mean the PS4 can't come out within that time-frame.

whats happened to this new the ps3 external processor or somethink like that they are building thought that would be out b4 ps4 unless they stoped the making of the external processor type thing

I'm pissed off as well.... just because I'm getting older, I saw when ps1 came out, then the ps2 and then ps3....now ps4..... geez I'm sooooo old u_u

Lol, I remember having my paddle controllers and pong when it was "advanced technology"

Running games off tapes was also revolutionary so don't feel so bad, at least you aren't as old as some of us........especially **cough @Wolfie708 cough** :-)

What is it that gets you so worked up exactly?
5-6 years is plenty long enough for current Gen consoles. Just because they make a new one does not mean they immediately drop support for older ones. Look at ps2, how long did Sony and game makers carry on supporting it with new titles etc after ps3 was released?

Let me see how you expected the timeline to be
Ps1 released 1994
+8 years would mean
Ps2 released 2002
+8 years would mean
Ps3 released 2010
+8 years would mean
Ps4 released 2018

So you are asking Sony to hold off on the ps4 until 2018? Come on, don't you think that's a little silly?

I will be glad of a new piece of tech. How often do you upgrade your PC? What state would games be in graphically wise if companies held back all new advances for 8 years?

and on 90% it said SYNTAX ERROR
almost always ended in entering rage mode Y U NO WORK STUPID DAT RECORDER

hell if you buy lets say a new videocard it's outdated within 6 months
because they already launched a bigger beast lol

On Topic: a agree with the hardware part statement, hardware is to fast obsolete for consoles. Normal PC users laugh if they see the PS3 specs...

Chill out man...6 years is an eternity in the tech world. The PS3 is already very outdated. Heck, you just bought a Wii...it came out after the PS3 and is getting replaced with the WiiU (which will be only marginally faster than the PS3) before the PS3 gets replaced with the PS4. Sure, the lifespan (the time when you can buy it new and a handful of companies are still releasing games) will be 10 years or more, but that doesn't mean it will be king for 10 years.
