I see a few people asking for name changes recently, and I've a suggestion?
Perhaps if possible or if wanted, to implement a system where you can change your name once every 6 months (or even a year)? Although, if everybody would change their name, we wouldn't know whose who anymore. *random internets person* i wanna be dem0nhad3s |
that would be a bad idea completely.
scammers/trolls would be virtually invisible more care should have been taken in choosing the name. i dont think pirate wants to be changing usernames either as the floodgates would be opened and would have requests coming out of his ears count yourselves lucky, im named after a japanese belt sander |
A "shop" should be implemented for longtime posters, something like a forum currency which is exchanged by users to add neat things to their profiles; one thing this "shop" could offer would be... a name change? Which should no doubt be *very* expensive, which would only be obtainable by longtime posters - or dedicated users.

if any name change system is implemented then there has to be some sort of user name history tied to their profile that is public for every one to see. i also agree with japsander on this.

Annelies idea is nice. I would like to spend points or even donate more to have a custom sub-name eg. - "Annelies Marie Frank" or "Sandwich Mod"

I like my name the way it is, but I also like the idea of a forum "shop". Maybe get points for each person who likes your post or something? Or points for ..... uh... getting a news post front paged?
Crap, we seem to have hijacked this poor person's thread |
