L.A. Noire from disk on 3.55
 

I am finally getting around to playing L.A. Noire. I would like to play it from the Retail disk and not ripped to HDD.
My system is spoofed to 3.70 and I have the patch installed.
Whenever I try to launch the disk I just get a error code.
Anyone have any suggestions ?

I suggest you play it from your hdd because that is your only option.

I bought the game the first week it came out and had it working from disk. That was some time ago and I have reformatted my HDD since then and lost all game data. I know it is possible to play from the disk. I just forget what steps I took to get there.
I was hoping on a site with 200,000 members someone mite be able to help refresh my memory

Update the game to 1.01 and it should work fine from disk..

But think about your poor laser! :P

too true.. this game is far too addictive...

I got it.
I had installed the ES patch. The US patch was the one I needed.
My bad.
