Ps3hax virused my pc Saturday
 

So I went to check the latest scene news on Saturday and right when I navigated to this sites homepage my pc became infected and my pc started acting crazy. I was able to restore to an earlier date and I'm only on here now cuz I'm using my iPhone, anyone else experience this??

i have had zero problems at all with any malware on this site.

i peronally use comodo firewall, anti virus and comodo dragon browser (a modified/secure chrome)
its all free so you may want to take a look

It is virtually impossible to become infected with malware by simply navigating to a website, unless it is a zero day exploit within an OS, browser, etc. It usually requires user interaction of some sort (downloading of files, etc).

Due to not seeing complaints flooding the boards, I doubt you got it from here.

nah thats not impossible - there are several ways to infect your system with malware, just with browsing to a website.

i use firefox with noscript / adblock and windows security essentials. Never had malware problems in my life.

Right after I went to homepage some sign up for windows 2012 crap popped up saying to sign up to clean my pc and it would not go away. My AV MS Essentials completely shutdown and lots of links in my start menu became broken, it was an easy fix though I just restored to an earlier date, and this is my rarely used notebook, I don't download or do anything on it. My pc was completely fine until I accessed homepage and ive even got virus on my work computer months ago but the AV at my work chewed the virus up and spit it out. Im 99.9% positive it came from this site. I have another pc which I do my more risky web surfing on, so yeah 2nd time and 2nd computer your guys homepage virused, not sayin it's your fault and I'm even thinking Sony is involved by sabotaging ps3 hacking sites, if I worked for Sony I'd be bombing on all u too...lol

Some advertisements can give your virus-scanner a false warning...
I never log in to the home page but always direct to the forum page, this way I skip the advertisements :)

Restoring to an earlier date is one of the last things to do, better check the computer what exactly happened before doing the restoring.

Yeah ur right Oozic but I only use this pc to web surf and by restoring to 3 days prior the only thing I lost was an adobe update ;)

It was definely a virus as it shut my AV down and would not allow me to restart the AV. Also links in my start menu broke. And messages from windows kept popping up saying I was invaded or something

well u can get a rogue or sumting like that only for enter in a page . i got 1 like 6 month ago "not here in a porn page" hahahahahahaha
