need some help about xbox
 

i want to buy new xbox 360 elite. i want to know if i can hack it to play downloaded games.

This forum doesn't condone piracy, so I can't say as far as downloading games goes.

What I CAN say is that to hack the console itself (i.e. Reset Glitch Hack), you need to ensure the console was not made too recently, as the newer Xbox360 mobo's don't have the HANA chip which is required for the hack. If you get one with a Trinity mobo, you'll be fine once you buy the additional hardware to read and write to the NAND. If you get a Corona mobo, you're boned.

2011-05-16 was the first release of the Corona I think. Have a look here: http://www.360drives.com/list?sort=firmware

Specify Corona motherboard, sort by earliest manufacturer date, and then buy something built before that date. Guaranteed to not be a Corona.

you can always just flash the dvd drive as well and that works with any of the xbox models

ok i am confused whats the difference between this motherboard hack and dvd drive hack

burnt games + online only if you flash the dvd drive, vs HDD games, homebrew, freestyle dash, etc etc etc with RGH, although no online.
