fat CECHLO2 options please
 

hi there guys iv been reading alot of info on my fat CECHLO2 in regards to firmware i had a look and it says in system settings i have 3.72 , is it possible the the guy i bought it off has changed the firmware or is this the firmware this model came out with ? ill be so upset if i have a useless piece of crap that i just bought , i just assumed because it was the old fat model it was good to go , wish i had of researched allot more first now too impatient , anyway guys id really appreciate any advice as you can see im clueless

fats did not come with 3.72 on them think about it when did that fw come out and when did they stop making the fats. even on ofw it is not useless

thanks i was thinking that when i bought it , is it possible to put the 3.55 firmware on it ?

yes you will need to buy a hardware flasher

wow just had a look progskeet ? i could not manage that all those wires loos like a birds nest is that my only option guys ?

yeah isn't soldering beautifull to do i just love it :laugh:

but if you want to you can use E3 flasher for a nor
cechl = nor afaik i have the same

or you can wait to half January and buy a real flasher aka progskeet
with the nor clip that's released then <-- best option

e3 = more expensive can't flash anything else then nor or ps3 bricks easy

progskeet can flash any flash including iphones wii xbox360 just anything with flash
it can be used as a reset glitch on xbox 360
it's cheap good and has real support in English

Looks like it. I'm on 3.66 with a CECHA01. Hardware downgrade is the only option for us.
If you can't do it, there are people who can you just have to find them and check refs.

we have same problem here to,.but my ofw was 3.73
my type was NAND so no one can downgrade it at indonesian...
if u have some info how to change it without soldering please share it with me ok...!?
i just wanna play many game with hdd int/ext cause for me its more eficient than play from BD-original each game...

lol nand console can be downgraded
ok not with the E3 bricker but progskeet can downgrade it solderless

ok sounds like i will wait , dont want to risk bricking , maybe will sell and get a slim and start with a fresh one ? will that still be ok with the progskeet solderless ? appreciate all the responses
