I accidentally update my ps3 to ofw 4.00 and lost my jailbreak (cfw 3:55), anyway my question is theres how to make a downgrade without any dongle ?

Yep! You sure can! You just need a hardware flasher, such as the progskeet, Teensy++ 2.0, E3, etc! =D

Seriously though, if you could downgrade without these things, nobody would be marketing them, would they? =\

Also, you CAN'T accidentally update your console, you have to read that there's a system firmware update, read the T+C, accept them, and let the download and subsequent install complete. Nothing accidental about that...

I accidentally update because I accidentally changed the pups files wen i goin to the change of cfw when I put the pen drive in the ps3 I thought that the cfw was spoofer to 4.00 and did the update and this unfortunate accident happened

No offense, but why in the f*ck do you even have a 4.00 PUP in the first place? o_O

And why didn't you check the MD5 checksum?

And since when does spoofed fw NOT show the actual fw version until after it's installation is completed and you check the system info?

Just sell your PS3 for as much as you can, and buy another PS3 that has fw 3.55 or bellow and you'll be aiight.

No need to buy flashers and dongles.
