Problem with split files
Hi folks!
Have a huge-probe. with big files and split files. I have installed Multiman 2.09.02 and bdemu2.pkg. Would like to now my internal HDD not with the entire game full pave, particular only the split files cache. When I click play now to the external HDD with Multiman, I get the error message I should enable Hermes. With the Multiman settings is Hermes but enabled. What can I do so that it works with me as it should be?? Please help me, am most despair! L.G. |
I had this problem myself.. installed the missing emulator and it worked.. you can get the BDEMU emulator by clicking HERE
|
Since you have the latest version of multiMAN installed as well as the BDEMU2 you now need to edit multiMANs settings. After you change your BD-ROM EMULATOR option to Hermes for the first time you must restart your PS3 to apply the changes. You must also set your Verify USB Games option to Auto or Enable (if you dont see that option under the Settings column on XMMB then, while on the Settings column press (/\) and select Advanced Settings and more options will be available).
I'm assuming you already know whow to split the big files and the correct folder structure they have to be on the external HDD, if not check this tutorial |
Hi!!
I have all the right Settings in Multiman, but it doesnīt work!!! |
you are doing something wrong... maybe your split method or something
i have latest MM with BDEmu2 set on Hermes, and everything works like it should. Also i split files with PS3Splitter |
Hi!!
Yes me too, with PS3Splitter. I read somthing about that the bdemu2.pkg should be installed before multiman???? Maybe my problem is, that I have the True Blue CFW?! |
To play split games from USB, try removing the underscore from the game's name folder.
example: dev_usb00/GAMES/_BLES00000 -> dev_usb00/GAMES/BLES00000 I remember having issues with some split games that didn't work from USB when they had the underscore in the folder's name. EDIT: Sorry, my mistake: added missing 's' and caps, as kgb_ said. |
Hi!!
My game name folders look like this e.g.: dev_usb00/game/BLES-00000 I donīt think that this is my problem?! |
Quote:
using your example your games folder structure should be: dev_usb00/GAMES/BLES-00000 i advise you to read the tutorial i mentioned before |
Hi!!
That was only a e.g. for the game name. The folder on my external is GAMEZ!!! Here is my right game structure: dev_usb00/GAMEZ/BLES-00000 |
