ps3 ofw 4.00 harware modifying
 

hi,
please tell me is it possible to downgrade ps3 4.00 with teesny or progskeet?
if so, please attach a link where I can find a good tutorial or a guide to do so...

2 Things,

1). That big banner up top that says "PS3 Scene Status", has all the answers you need.
2). When you click on it and look on the page and come to:
"How to downgrade your PS3 from 3.7x to 3.55" ....it's also applicable to the current 4.00FW

please tell me a good guide for using psgroove on teensy++ board.......

First thing to check is your model number, if it is a CECH-3000 series (latest models) you can't downgrade hardware wise at all.

Second thing to know is what firmware the PS3 used when you (or previous owner) got it new. You can't downgrade to a lower version than it came with. If you don't know, there is somewhere a tool on this site to check the lowest FW your PS3 can go.
