BDEMU.pkg Update
 

hey there!

i realized that there are two bdemu oackages floating around!
i am on 3.55.2 rebug cfw and as in the tutorial i installed after the jailbreak the bdemu packages from the hdd package repository... so now i found out there is a package called BDEMU2.pkg... what the nefeits from version two and how to upgrade it without bricking my ps3?!

i don´t know the difference but just deintall the old emu and install this...

I think it was related to the Hermes payload and stuff. Hermes in this case being the ability to play games on external usb with only the files larger than 4gb on the internal hdd. Though, not completely sure I am all correct.

can you explain me what the hermes payload is and in which case the version 2 of bdemu can make my life easier?!

no one knows the difference or benefits from version2?

Seriously just do yourself a favor and use BDEMU2, you can thank everyone later.

If you would read all the info Deank has posted in his multiMAN thread you would know why you need BDEMU2 and what it is for.

mmmh i cant find that info youre are talking about how to find it?!
i updated to muzltiman v4 lately and see that new folders on my filesystem are showing up, also i cannot uninstall bdemu, when i go to remove package the files keep spinning and i cannot choose any of them, should i install bdemu2 anyway?

Just install bdemu2
