Glad to hear that they're working on the browser again :)

A little paradoxical (..) to change our PS3's into a kind of MegaUpload with the SOPA (or whatever that stupid human-unfriendly law is named now) actions going on now.

Or is the GF from that Dutch MegaUpload connection correct with her statement that the file-sharing had nothing to do with the MegaUpload take down, but it was al done because MegaUpload wanted to start a new kind of music distribution system killing the money-making machine it is now :questionmark:

Just speculation here but could dropbox be used to monitor lets say pirated movie and music content? Thus resulting in the enforcement of SOPA?

I know with Amazon (according to their ToS), anything you upload to the cloud becomes property of them(so dont upload any personal patent/copyright pending stuff lol) so I would suppose they could filter what they wanted then report it to whomever they wished.

A bill that never passed cannot be enforced.

ACTA however was signed in 2011 in the U.S. and the DMCA is still an active law.

This sounds like a future setup.

What if Sony wanted to monitor if any illegal media related to SONY was going into the Dropbox.
(Am I being a conspiracy theorist...:dontknow:)
