What version to use 3.41/3.55?
 

This might have been asked 1000's of times but here it is again. :afraid:

I just bought a PS3(will be here in 10 hours) and it will be coming with OFW 2.53. Its a Fat gen 2 PS3(80gb)(CECHK01).
Note: I have a 500gb external(fat32) ready for use with backups on it.
I also have a 500gb i plan on putting in the PS3 once it comes in.

The question is what one should i update to 3.41 or 3.55?:help:

I mainly want to play backups that even require 3.7x firmware and play the classics like SNES, GBA, PS1, etc....

Im very new to the PS3 scene but have done tons on the PSP like this.

As a noob what one would be easier to do and less risk of bricking my system for what i want it to do?:hmmmm2:

3.55 definitely

3.55 no point using 3.41

you wont be able to play games over 3.56 unless they have been patched or u sell ur soul

Guess i better find a buyer XD.

How hard is it to find patches?
