E3 Flasher question
 

Ok i am about to begin my ride to heaven or hell aka downgrading.


My ps3 is a 2504b 0c and in now on ofw 3.65.
The important question is, do i have to update to 3.73 or 4.00 before i begin the downgrade process, I am NOT interested in Dual Boot. Just to downgrade and go.

I will use the samsung e3 flasher bios in order not to be limited to 1 ps3 but i intend to use all the other files in the e3 webpage.

I think i will end with rogero cfw. Can i use those files while i am on 3.65?

are you sure it can even be downgraded?
what factory fw did it come with? (above 3.55 is a no go for sure)

to downgrade you don't need to upgrade i still don't get it why ppl even say this **** since it doesn't add anything to the whole progress other then more time spend

thank you, yes i am sure it can be downgraded since it is a date code: 0c model which implies 3rd quarter 2010.

do you know to what cfw the e3 files will take me?

Before you start do anything.Check Your factory firmware with MinVerChk.I had before 2504b console and comes with 3.60 firmware

Checked, it says 3.40 or later! so i guess i am good to go!

i will use the amazebreak dongle to do the actual downgrading, have you any experience with it or heard if its ok to use?

any dongle that supports service mode hex files work

and for the cfw you can use any fw you want

can i have a link to this hex file i've checked the downloads page and got a bit confused
