tales of graces f... I have to play this! XD
 

so i have been loyal to the jailbreak scene from the beginning and have had full faith in it like many of you. No game has been worth me upgrading to the current fw to play... not MW3, being able to play UC3 w/o freezes, etc... but my all time favorite series, the "tales of" series, is localizing Graces f, and i have to not only support it by buying a pre ordered copy, but i gotta play it too! So my question is assuming no amazing breakthrough in the scene occurs between now and march 13th(its release date), how do you recommend I play the game? I do not want to have to do the soldering of some of the chips that allow you to go back and forth in fw (downgrading and upgrading fw)... & i know true blue has nothing but hate here, but I feel like a desperate nerd here needing his fill of tales of! Help!

With that being the case you might as well update your ps3. OFW is not all that bad. You get latest games, and SEN (PSN), but you lose homebrew, linux, and your backup manager. There are reasons we do not like True Blue. If you want to play the latest games, OFW offers way more than True Blue does, and it is cheaper, and you are not supporting thieves.

As i know Japanese version is available for 3.55, after localization the translation maybe transfered to JAP back up, and it will be playable with eng text

its true, with gamesl ike catherine though they were glitchy... yup ill definitely have to keep my eyes open for that..

Eagerly waiting for this game aswell. Definitely not waiting for the European release to get it.
As mentioned, you might get an EBOOT fix since the japanese version is 3.41, but you'll have to wait until release to see if it works or not, and how well it works if it does.

Btw, GameStop (USA) and EBGames (CA) offers pre-order bonus if you're interested.

i know! im stoked... but yes i preordered before the bonus was announced so hopefully they dont forget to give me that! first preorder bonus for a tales game i believe...

You mean for a tales game outside of Japan :D
And if you ordered it at gamestop or ebgames I don't see why you shouldnt get the bonus.
