wish we had more homebrew developers like this one and ThatOtherDev, that'd surely boost things up in 3.55 CFW corner :)

Its the first homebrew using a PARAM.HIS with the changelog, right?
Nice, this was fast :)

Hi,
Thanks for Your publication...
@ sandungas, yes i used a PARAM.HIS it s excellent thank to you...

The installation of the mod consist in just pasting the "data" folder inside the game install folder in HDD, right ?

You can manage this with a .pkg installation, the best/easy way for this emulator is to install the mods with category "GD" (like an expansion pack)... and using a different TITLE_ID (the name of the folder in wich will be installed)... standard "expansion packs" uses something like TITLE_ID_MODS when installed keeping the main program TITLE_ID at the beggining and adding a string like _MODS at the end... but you dont need to keep this standard "naming system"
You can configure the emulator to load the mod from any folder, right?, so there is no problem with names, and there is no need to place the mods inside the install folder of the emulator (in fact is better to install them appart)

For this, use a PARAM.SFO extracted from one of the .pkg that sometimes are included in game discs as "extra content"
One with category GD ... but without APP_VER (this is a patch, is not what you need), and without COMMUNICATION_ID (or similars related with licenses)... the rest has no much importance, just use an intuitive TITLE_ID

Additionally, if you use subfolders in your .pkg all the mods can be installed there, and you have the option to see and manage them from XMB (in the "game data utility" at the top of game column)... you can uninstall the emulator but keeping your mods (or the opposite)... and you can even add a changelog of the mods installed by using PARAM.HIP/HIS :)

Not a request just some ideas

markus95 02-28-2012 07:37 AM

@sandungas , hi
Thank for your ideas...

The Mod is the "file" saintseiya with somes in "music" and "sound"...
But the Pkg need a data file for work, otherwise Paintown don' t start...
I add my "file" saint seiya (my Mod) in data file...

I don' t compile the pkg voluntarily, I would for the next release...

For the PARAM.HIP/HIS it was just a test worked, I don' t included in this version 0.1...

Thank you for your advice, I'll try all this for the next version ...
And thank for you work on PARAM.HIP/HIS...it's very cool for changelog, etc...

Sorry for my english he is bad....;)
See you later if you want, bye
