need help with ps3 CECHG03
 

Hallo guys my friend's friend gave me his ps3 to try fix it.his ps3 model is CECHG03 and got ylod.i find a lot of tutorials on the internet but not for this exact console. Anyways i told him to sell it to me for 45 euros, to fix it and then install cfw for mw2 and my games (backup only). tomorrow is my last chance to give it back to him or buy it.. Now my problem is that i can not find if this model CECHG03 is hackable..if it is then what firmwares can get install? (sorry for my bad English)pls answer me soon!!:dontknow:

All fat models are modable. But if the firmware is higher than 3.55, you will need a progskeet to downgrade it to 3.55.

can i use kmeaw cfw to mod it after fixing it?i thing is 256 nand model

Assuming it is on a firmware 3.55 or lower, yes.

If it is higher than 3.55, than use progskeet to downgrade.

anyway i found a kit on ebay what do you think about it?
