your friend is right, the rebug tb cfw does not work with tb update 2.5.
for tb update 2.5 you need to use cfw 3.55 tb v.2 |

Ok, since you do not have a psn account, you will have to modify your ps3's registry(only once) in order to create a fake psn account(This will not let you play online it will only help you to use other people's save data) Once you do this you can use any save data you want.
Do not follow these steps if you have a psn account So, download the atachment and you will need a hex editor too. 1. use ftp or multiman to browse to dev_flash 2/etc and copy the xRegistry.sys file to a usb drive. 2. on your pc use the file atached here to open your xRegistry.sys file. go to the line /setting/user/00000001/npaccount/accountid and click it once. on the right side of the program's window where it says value, enter ffffffffffffffff only if value is blank. now click the save button then click on file and in the drop down menu click save. If you are not user 1 then whatever # you are, mod that one. 3. overwrite the original xRegistry.sys in dev_flash 2/etc and also in dev_flash 2/backup with your edited xRegistry.sys. turn off ps3. 4.turn on ps3 and after it boots to the xmb you will see an error message, so go to sign in and un check both "sign in automatically" and "remember password". now you wont see the error message anymore. play any game you have and save the game then exit. 5. use the xmb copy function to install the save data you want to make work on your ps3 or if the save data is already on your ps3 then copy it to a usb drive. be sure to copy the save data of the game you just played too. 6. on your pc use the hex editor to view the param.sfo from save data of the game you just played and look for your account id(ffffffffffffffff) it will appear twice in the file. now change the account id of each save you want to use to your account id. don't forget to save 7. use ftp or multiman and browse to dev_hdd0/home/00000001/savedata now overwrite each save with your edited saves. remember if you are not user 1, then copy the save data to the correct user. 8. you're done, go play your game. If you have any questions feel free to ask. |
Thanks!!..gonna give it a try..:)
