Petition,We Want A Working Jfw3.56 Soft Downgrader
 

the developers of jfw 3.56 said and promised that this firmware could do a lot of things like returning to 3.55 with MAD,load ps2 games backups,psp games ,run fw 3.60 games and open private like psn service

none of this is working,in some cases this firmware wont even let you update to ofw version 3.56+

not being able to go back to 3.55 or 3.56 means you will be trapped forever on this thing unless you buy an expensive hardware flasher risking to damage your console if you haven't got the skills of soldering etc . .

being trapped in this firmware will mean that you wont be able to use cobra or true blue features to play with newer games

those cool spanish jfw developers will hardly reply on forums when you ask for help on their websites,and when they do they WONT HELP YOU !! when you ask about downgrading! htey will just lock your thread

lol if you followed the scene you would know not to trust these guys, they couldnt pull through with 3.41 cfw which was the one they cliamed could load ps2 iso so they released this 3.56 but it was only intended for people who had a ps3 that couldnt go any lower then that. this is why you should of searched around or even made a thread asking about the firmware and EVERYONE would of advised you not to update as its a stupid mistake.

i agree with you 100% that they shouldnt of released anything after makeing such a hype about what there cfw was going to do and be able to do and FAILING. but this is only intended for people who have a ps3 with lowest stock fw 3.56 and is helpful for that and really only that lol. :):):):):):)

said that there was a downgrader,but it seems you did not read about them otherwise you would have agreed that people made the stupid mistakes you are talking about because of other stupid people writing things without knowing facts well

Lmao yea make a petition to make them enable something that isn't possible.I agree with what jp said.u should have followed the scene a lot closer.demonhades was/is known for spewing bull**** and not delivering anything remotely useful if anything at all. Think ur just SOL unless u get a hardware downgrader.seriously think about it. If it was possible to software only downgrade from 3.56(hell any fw ver) don't u think it would have been front page news everywhere?
I hope u learned a lesson about jumping into something without proper research(not trying to flame/bash u)

Edit: the reason "those cool spanish devs" lock ur threads is because there is no downgrader.don't be so gullible.if something sounds too good to be true it probably is.

ok to your point about following the scene, im not saying your a complete noob but why would you go to other sites that arnt up-to-date with the ps3 news on hacking etc. you just linked the site ******* which posted this news 14 weeks ago lol.

as ive stated before i feel your pain in lossing your 3.55 and being stuck on this 3.56, i was waiting on the long awaited 3.41 jfw that had ps2 iso loading but as i said it was all hype to a big MOAB (Mother of all boobs). EPIC FAIL lol :):):):):)

and @platynumx backups werent possible to load on any firmware,then they were with a paece of hardware (ps3break) ,then with only software (jailbreaked cfw).
downgrading from 3.55 to other firmwares was not possible even from a jaibreacke one to 3.41 then is was! and not with a flasher but with the gitbrew method same thing could happen without a flasher here and that is why i made this thread ,


on my other thread more than one said you briked your ps3 you got nothing left to do except buying a flasher ,a telented developer made me fix it in an operation of only 5minutes with just and old usb pen,i am not sure soft downgrade is possible but i am not sure its not possible either,and i would rather making decide developers like the ones in the team of the member that helped me debrick my ps3. so thats why i would like to make whom is on jfw ask this with me here and make it more worth it for some other developer to put some of his efforts in making this app for not just a single person but for a comunity,as matter effect i really would prefer people entering here and writing things like (i miss my 3.55 or i don't like jfw i wish i didn't upgrade or my younger brother didn't etcc) instead of discussing of anything else but i appreciate your comments either no problem

@jp_cfc. i really trusted ps3newsdotcom just like you waited and trusted the first jfw 3.41 i just took there words even if was something of some week ago and i did not bother in searching for jfw videos that shows clearly if it loads ps2 isos or downgrades but i did not find them even after i switched fw ,nor i found something that showed that the jfw was unable to load them/downgrade so i made some and posted them hoping they can contribute in making people avoid falling in my mistake or help them make the right decision

LOL a petition to ask devs other then demonhades himself to fix? Thats not fair at all. I remember a noob not too long ago asking here if he should install the JFW 3.56MA and everyone in that thread said "NO". That person went a head and installed it anyways regardless of what we told him. If you were in fact following the scene closely you would have come across that thread here and see that it was a bad idea.
