I splurged on a new vita today...... Havent touched it. Still in the box, but I'll get to it. Those who have one care to fill me in on comments complaints concerns?

i don't have one but i have heard it might manage the battery poorly. i tried it and my only "problem" was the buttons seemed small and i wish they had 2 triggers on each side

battery is fine for a handheld. If you have big hands you will need to the the trigger grip. It make the vita feel like an oversized dual shock! I'm loving mine right now

Sigh.... All because I didn't buy uncharted with it I can't use the damn thing until tommorrow..... Damn PSN is down and it begs me to sign into PSN in order to use cma on the unit.... Wtf??? Welli guess another wait is in order, in the meantime imma go buy a 40 I guess =/

WIthin 20 mins of playing with it the screen froze...as in it wouldnt respond to anything...couldnt turn off or anything....had to pop the memory card out to restart it...but that was an early bug...had it since release...since then a lil like non response from the touchscreen but only like a couple times..besides that nothing but beautiful gaming...i always have buyers remorse but i have no complaint with the vita.............umm.......I opened the package and i...JIZZED IN MY PANTS!

i hate the proprietary usb on it. weary of cartridge games too. its decent tho. did u get a 3g vita?

3G's not even available in Canada. Epic fail :rolleyes:

@TechnoPanda yeah surprisingly mine froze just the once too.... But ally's good.... I had a high moment of excitement when I opened it too.

Yeah I have no problem with AT&T so I said wth and went for it.

@$nipR I believe they're releasing a 3G model shortly for CA

Update.... took me an hour and half to update with out freezing. afterwards, not so much still freezes but like after a few hours of play. Usually in the menus if i have a few things open.

I wouldnt normally say update a new console but ... 1 hr n half crashing and freezing. Not acceptable by anyones standards.

btw i wasn't gonna get one at those crazy prices but i ended up getting mine for free :D minus a memory card (but got uncharted free too) so i paid £15 for my vita :D still disappointed lol.

the battery isn't a huge issue. i can play 3-4 non stop with medium brightness remote play
