Can't we play online in 3.55 ?
 

Hi everyone !

I just succesfully downgraded from 4.11 to 3.55 using E3 Flasher (Limited Edition) ! :D

I'm currently running on Firmware 3.55 Rogero V3.1 and I almost did a heartbreak when I saw I couldn't play anymore online :O ! ?

Is there no way to play online in 3.55 like before ? I remember in old time when I had bought my PS3 in 3.55 I could bypass the update with DNS and things like that.. But i've been out from the scene since too long right now :/

Can anyone help me ?

Simple answer: no - because Sony has decided to pull the plug for online 3.55 support and I believe they do this with every key firmware update.

Your alternatives for this would be Xlink Kai, which is an online gaming platform that makes use of the in-game LAN feature.

Doulbooting is the only way!

Not really...You did noticed to OP said he downgraded from 4.11?

In that image it says 3.7X and is a little date.

But the basic answer is you can't go online with any CFW

You can go online with CFW.
The banner only says CFW "PSN" Access = NO "PSN".

I am one of those people that is glad MFW cannot go on PSN. With MFW the temptations of cheating are great. How is it fair to the legit gamers just wanting to enjoy a little online gaming to be mixed with people that could potentially cheat. Look at MW2 (and every other prior CoD). It has become a cheaters haven. I am not saying you are going to cheat, but there are a great number of people that would, therefor ruining the online experience for many.

Just sayin* cheating makes it a little fun when your bored, but I suggest if your gonna cheat play with friends

Been there done that and can you guess what happened? The friends without cheats cried like little girls.
