Orbis Plus AMD 64 (hope a bulldozer or some octocore) = FTW

While the inability to play PS3 games is somewhat understandable if they are completely redoing the architecture of their machine, it still makes me angry. But no used games, and even games bought on discs still being locked to an SEN account. Sony can **** off. Way to do what your publishers want versus your customers.

I was planing on buying a ps4 on day 1.
If this info is true. I do not think I will. :( |
You can't win against an i7 or an octo (PC) So i wish the next wave of consoles have more user friendly interface and more solid communication/interaction with any PC.

"Orbis games will have a resolution up to 4096×2160.
Will lock new games to a PSN account as an anti-used games measure, thus killing off the possibility to buy pre-owned games. Games will be on Blu Ray or downloaded straight from PSN/SEN or whatever they decide to call it by then." What planet are they living on? The 7900 GPUs are powerful but, 4096x2160 is quite a stretch. They would need to offer a free connection service to effectively implement account locking. I don't know about anyone else but, I'd rather not sit around and wait for a 20GB download if I could go to the store and pick up a copy. |
the future = non tangible edition games anymore, no more boxes no more nothing. All *direct to drive* thing.
Personally i will hate to have more than 500gb of games purchased on a server of sony (in this case). |
I don't care if it can't play PS3 games. I like how out of nowhere, people started complaining about BC this gen. Nobody complained when the Gamecube couldn't play N64 games. >.<
