ERROR: Unable to communicate with dongle!
Hi.
At beginning I want to tell that I have: - Tested it on REBUG TB cfw v2 edition. - Original TB v2 edition. - Installed them via recovery and normally. - Tried to update to older versions (2.2 , 2.4). - I don't have other devices connected to USB. OK so I get this error after trying to update my TB using console. I enter application then when It ask me to insert my TB I insert it and after pressing OK I got this error. Any ideas how to get this shi* working ? I'm really pissed of right now (TB is new I just get it). What's more: - When I put TB in usb and start my PS3 (it don' start - TB light is red). - When I put TB in usb to update it (it don't update - TB light is red). |
you need some vaseline.then it will work!
|
start your ps3 ,and after 5 sec
after boot plug in tb let it glow and then start to update it work's great with vaseline to,test it :) |
I see some butthurt people here.
Install the latest true blue cfw and update the dongle after that. Not Rebug! |
you no longer need to update, since it is already updated to the latest 2.51 ver, im assuming you just bought it recently.. tb plugged and boot ps3, check at settings - system settings - system info you should see your tb ver is 2.51 (yup .51 and not .5)..
and as long as tb cfw v2 and tb 2.5 games are working then there is nothing to update.. |

my dongle is new and working on 2,51(green led). I tried to update to lastest version but it was failed. I'm also tried street fighter & tekken and it is working. I was read, this dongle is lastest factory version with lastest firmware. if my dongle is dead dongle, its have to stuck in red led? but my dongle is working, also with lastest games but I couldnt update it?
