I need some closure
 

At first I wasn't sure how to even begin this post. When I originally thought of making it, I was a little angry, and the result wouldn't have gotten me anywhere further than I am now.

As many of you know I was a moderator here for a short time :) I left due to the spam bots making me want to punch myself in the face. Nothing against @Pirate or ps3hax in general, I just couldn't enjoy reading anything when I had to delete a new spam bot every 5 minutes. This is still IMO the best ps3 site on the web, and I really hope it continues to stay that way.

Now to my main point :)
Right before I left as moderator there was some issue involving me, and the IRC server. I had my channel OP taken, and was basically lynched because I lied to a person I once respected and would even call a friend at times. I was guilty by association. I did not directly do anything, but because I know who did, and lied about it, there were consequences (understandable to a certain degree). All of that seemed to blow over, and for a few days everything seemed ok again. Now I am back in the same boat, and once again I didn't do ****. Guilty by association yet again, and I have no clue as to why this time.

So now I have no moderator status, and I no longer have channel operator in the IRC. I can understand personal grudges (actually I do not understand this one) but to remove privileges from a person that has visited this site and IRC for a number of years, and have had to deal with a lot of crap, devoting hours of my time to BS with people and give live help to others, just doesn't seem right.

So in my away time I look around the forums without any moderator responsibility, and check my twitter account. Now I get to see my name being thrown around for no good reason. The thread I am speaking of is now deleted or I would show everyone ;) Sadly this is being done by a person I had a great deal of respect for. This set me off. There was some **** I wanted to say, but after thinking about it for a while, it wouldn't have solved anything.

Anyway I think I am going to stop visiting hax altogether :( Apparently once you are staff long enough it becomes like a secret society that you cannot simply leave without consequences.

I am going to be the bigger man here and leave quietly, and to the person I am talking about in this thread, all I can really say is I don't give a damn how much you respect me, I respected you and still continue to do so. I just don't like the guilty by association ****. I may talk to people you don't like, but I am sure there are people you talk to that I cant stand, but never would I bash you for the actions of other people. If you want to bring up the comments I have made, be my guest :) because I only said what I did in retaliation.

@Pirate : thank you for the opportunity as moderator here :) It was a blast, and keep running the one good ps3 site left.

@GregoryRasputin : Thank you for all of your work here as news poster :) plus thanks for all the good laughs I have had while here.

Well hax it has been fun. You guys enjoy the site, and stop believing all the fake devs that come in with "I haz 4.11 MFW" If a real 4.11 MFW ever comes out I am sure Greg or Pirate will have that **** on the front page in no time :)

@BobbyBlunt I hope you change your mind ,you been here for ever & when i came here i seen many cool mods/members & now you all have become familiars. I hate to see the ones i believe made this place interesting & trust leave :( Over nonsense ,conflicts ! Whatever you decide i hope / wish you well & hope you one day decide to reconsider this decision... Good luck..

@BobbyBlunt , I was nervous when I seen the title and the section it was in, I thought it was going to a personal attack on me, which I have been expecting, an attack some of it I might deserve, but it wasn't and I thank you for that.

Things have happened that are irreversible and yes I do hold some of the responsibility, I think everything went to hell, when I let my dislike for TB get obsessive, calling members retards for buying the device was wrong, but I wanted people to understand how wrong this device is for the scene, perhaps I could have went around it a different way, but I did what I felt was right at the time.

I do still consider you a friend, that is something I don't want to change and I do hope you become back as a moderator some day, when I went to Afterdawn and suggested you be a mod, its because I thought you would be great at it and because I wanted you as a fellow moderator.

I do hope you come back occasionally and visit.
