XBOX Guitar Controller -> PS3

Hello,

I have an Xbox Guitar and would like to know if and who i can use it on my PS3. I have enough knowledge about electronic and soldering to perform a serious mod.

If you connect it to your PC, you can use Sixemu to control your PS3 with it via bluetooth.

What so the 360 gh controller is plugged into PC, interfaced by sixemu and then connect the controller to PS3 via BT from the PC ? I'm so confused there.

That's exactly how it works! :)

Could even use keyboard + mouse on 4.11, literally anything you can control a PC with, works with Sixemu.

Wow, thanks man!

No problem, but I should mention; I couldn't get it to work using "Virtual Box" by Oracle and ended up dualbooting Ubuntu + Win 7. There's a handy way to install it called "Wubi" if you're new to Linux or just lazy.. :)

For 360 devices you might need the wireless control receiver for pc. It allows up to 4 devices to be connected to your PC. I use one to connect the wireless controller to my PC for example. If the guitar is wireless, then you more than likely need to get this receiver. Its around 17 dollars.

For that wireless receiver, I just soldered a USB cable + 2 x "1N4148" diodes onto a ROL/RF board from a 360 and installed the drivers for the genuine adapter, then tweaked them to suit.. To sync a controller to it, just use the Plug 'n' Play USB cable - but I doubt that fits a wireless GH guitar. You can also sync by plugging the RF board into a 360 and sync normally.
