Rebug 3.55.2 OtherOS++ files
 

Hi all..!

I'm about to install this fw, but I need all the files for the OtherOS part..
I can't find any of them, even by using google! :0

Once you have your firmware installed go here(link) and download the following files:

setup_flash_for_otheros.pkg
dtbImage.ps3.bin (For 16MB NOR) or dtbImage.ps3.bin.minimal (For 256MB NAND)
install_otheros.pkg
boot_otheros.pkg
reboot.pkg
create_hdd_region.sh
hdd_access.sh

Now that you have the necessary tools to begin installing OtherOS++ head over here(link) and READ AND FOLLOW the guide properly, starting at step 2. These guys have put a lot of time into getting this to work so we’ll say it again, READ AND FOLLOW the guide.

I am sure i have the entire setup / packages + the Special OS++ CFW 355 ,i think it was called .It has been a while. I am tired as hell ,i will check on it when i wake up .I got it a long time ago when it all came out & i think i ripped the tutorials/pages also ,how to install everything. You should check on gitbrew or ps3devwiki ,i think that is were i got everything.

I will see tomorrow. I just seen the OS++ PUP a few days ago, on on of my hard drives. If you do look you should find them there though .Gitbrew.org. If i am not mistaken. I should have all/full package for that setup. Let me know if you find them ,or i will PM you after i check on that tomorrow..

I do have the OS++ PUP file, it is only all the small handy files I need..
I will check later at the two sites..

Oh! -Thanks alot for the link, it looks very promising..

I only have one more question. Do I need to use glevand CFW or can I also use Rebug CFW?

Also thanks to you other guys who have replied.

Glevand his CFW has SS patches enabled, this enables the use of graf_chokolo his most powerful utilities but has a big trophy error on GameOS side effect for a lot of games making them not start. Unless you are a dev that likes to mess with dangerous tools and don't care about gaming, stay with Rebug OtherOS++ :)
