One: Do you believe in an afterlife? Or that when you die, you're DEAD and GONE.

Two: Do you believe in the Law of Attraction? (Look it up if you must)

I have a question. (sort of in the same vein as the Ops)
If there is truly such a thing as ghosts and such. How come there are no ghosts of Cows/Sheep/Snakes/Fish and other animals? I mean say a couple thousand years ago the land your house was built on used to be farmland where all cattle roamed around. How come people don't see cow specters roaming your Kitchen in the dead of night? :P

Edit: To answer the OP's question: I need more information for that... there was a time all people on the earth thought our lovely planet was flat.... and only for the last 15 years or so we know how big and wonderful the universe really is.... understanding it will take another 500 years or so I think :)

1. You believe in a life after death, you get a life after death. You don't believe in life after death, then you get no life.

2. Opposites attract.

1) I dont believe in afterlife and think we reach the end of our existence with the death. I want to believe, its disturbing to think there is no hope,
no heaven and no afterlife and all will be lost forever (and probabbly in vain). But strangely, I believe in God (well, someone or something pushed the "Big Bang" start button...).


2) I dont believe in Law of Attraction, and believe we have no mystical powers to change our destiny or anything using only faith/willpower/wish.

IMHO, willpower and faith are great tools to help people reach what they aim, but nothing more (not a mystical thing).

If the next time I browse this forum I encounter some news like "Running homebrews on 4.x!" or "4.x downgrade without a hw flasher!" , then I will believe in Laws of attraction, because im really wishing this :laugh:

I would be less racional and more mystical/transcedental, but I just cant fool myself with confortable beliefs. We are doomed!

I'm an atheist and a realist, therefore in my mind there is no "afterlife". We're just biological organisms composed of elements which have been here since the beginning of the universe. When we die, it's game over. I don't know anything about Law of Attraction, other than it seems to be some new-agey BS designed to sell books :)
