Buying a new computer
 

Please tell me if these specs are good to play the most recent games:
- CPU -Intel® Core™ i5-2300 - 2,80GHz (2nd Generation) (Turbo 3,10GHz)
-RAM - 6GB DDR3 (Expansible to 8GB max)
- Disk space - 1TB
GPU - NVIDIA GeForce GT420 1GB
64 bit operative system - Windows 7
The computer is a iXtreme I7874PTPACKARD BELL

My concern would be the graphics card because it is OEM only and not that fast (like only 48 cuda cores):

But you can always sell it and buy a better card because the rest of the specs look alright to me. You only didn't tell how fast the 6Gb memory is... :)

So, is this one better? NVIDIA GeForce GT520 1GB DDR3

I haven't more info about the RAM, sorry.

I would say that would be a good setup, just get a better graphics card something like this http://www.cclonline.com/product/545...-Card/VGA0139/ however the card you have would be fine im sure

@RafaSimpsons you can make a good machine for a lot less, my pc cost £500 about 5 years ago, and it still plays the most recent games with no issues
