Emulators on PS3 or Wii which are better?
 

I am looking for which console has the better emulators, Better speed and better compatibility. Also what are some of the features they have over others, I tried the we homebrew wiki but I didn't feel it was very helpful. I have some installed on my PS3,Wii, and XBOX1, I am just tried to find one system to use for emulation.

depends on which system. right now i would say that wii has better emulators. especially for systems like snes and gba, the n64 emulator even plays many games well. the ps1 emulator is decent but somethings like dreamcast emulators are impossible, and the n64 emu suffers some framerate issues on some games

I can't compare for the wii because I don't own one, but between ps3 and original xbox, the Xbox wins hands down for emulators.

if u want to see ur emu's in hd with a bunch of fancy effects then you need to go with either original xbox or ps3.....

PS3 for graphics. Wii overall. The homebrew channel is awesome on the Wii. There's tons of homebrew on there that you can download and update on the Wii. I wish the PS3 had a setup more similar to that. The one thing I want on both is a good working N64 emulator. I've been waiting for forever. The one on the Wii doesn't have a high compatibility rate. IF one is ever released on PS3 it would be better because of the graphics. I like the internet radio on the Wii too. As far as I know there isn't one for PS3 unless I've missed it. Wii has way more homebrew though.

The wii emu is awesome. My son play mario 64 on the wii than all the other games.when the scene was good I do recall somebody was trying to make a ps homebrew channel.I sure it died just like the scene did.

The emulators on PS3 seem a little more accurate in terms of speed and control, but the wii so so many more. Also retro Nintendo consoles feel more "politically correct" playing on a nintendo system :p

I have actually went back to my PC for emulators. I have set up my children's account to boot XBMC at startup so they can easily pick and choose what they want to play.

I love the interface on most of the wii emulators, but i agree with BobbyBlunt: on ps3 the emulators seem more accurate and faster.

IMHO: PC>original xbox>psp>ps3>wii>xbox360 for emulators.

You've got a modded original Xbox? That's all you need for emulators! Get Coin-ops 3 and you're good to go.

@Persian McLovin is right, if you own a original xbox, thats all you need. As a bonus, you can solder +64mb on xbox board and install gentoox for more emulators.
