e3 quality SUCKS
 

I just finished installing my e3 flasher and i was getting hard drive error...after close examination of the card,i noticed none of the data pins are soldered to the card on the sata plug ......what a piece of ****....

I knew it was built like crap the second I saw the box it comes in.

when i got mine one of the led lights wasnt working and didnt get slim power switch.i got the limited edition.

But it still did the job...my ps3 is alive again.

I'm not coming to the E3's rescue or anything but I've never had a problem w the flasher, personally speaking.

even after soldering the pins, i still cant get communication between the ps3 and esata station....im getting pissed


Well i pulled out a pci sata card and installed it in my pc and plugged this esata station into it......nothing

either its the cord or the station itself.....****in chinese crap.....NEVER AGAIN

Ha, E3 Flasher is hard to set up...
so I make sure it's properly hooked up the first time, it isnt so I fix it and make it work the second time but you know how it said Unsolderless Clip? Yea well I still need to solder for the ****ing dual boot, so later I'll open it up for the Fast Dual Boot.

Go for progskeet.

the flasher is installed fine. the estation doesnt work. confirmed it with pc. just bought another on ebay

Any solderless solution from both of the flashers are a pain in the eye. But still worth the shot.
But if have to choose E3 flasher or Progskeet, i will go for progskeet.

You can use any hard drive dock, I would recommend the Black X brand it works just fine and actually better than the E3 station because the E3's dock gives 2.5 hdds too much space inside the dock itself, make sure you have the station in an easy-access area, otherwise be very careful.
