The Call of Duty Conspiracy
What if the Government is behind Call of Duty and trying to prepare us mentally for the military with Call of Duty releases?
Think about it. |
We are soldiers already...virtual soldiers and not from the COD saga only.
But the military as far as i know they train with doom. So in some way we are pure raw material for the military. Remember GAMER movie (with gerard) xD We are not so far from that. |
As long as I can press the red button, I'm ok with it :)

Well the government can stick it. MGS2 touched on this a grip, so if the guhmint wants to train me, I'll happily oblige.... With Metal Gear Solid games :p
|
In my country (Portugal), when I bought MW3, for pc, it had a flyer of the army ("Exército" in portuguese) inside, to incentivate buyers to join the army LOL
|
I was hoping the gov't was training me to be a treasure hunter/lost world discoverer like Nathan Drake. Damn.

DAMNIT! And here i thought i was the future number 1 Formula 1 driver :frown::mad::frown:

"Hey we have enemy forces inbound on our position" "OK 1 sec let me setup my classes and perks" "Oh ****, I've been hit" "It will be ok you will respawn after you bleed out, and make sure to watch the killcam" Come the **** on CoD teaches people how to run and gun, and it teaches players that they can be a one man army Socom teaches players about trigger burst, teamwork, communication, and when you die you die. |

But that isn't what I'm talking about. Obviously, someone joining the military already has a clear understanding of what he's getting himself -- or herself -- into. This is my point: because of Call of Duty alone my knowledge on today's weapons is greater than it should be. Why do I know what an AC130 is, how far it is from the ground and what types of projectiles work best to clear an area depending on the situation? Why do I know about cooking grenades so the enemy can't just throw them back? ? Why do I know about an AK-47's (and rifles alike) rate-of-fire? I shouldn't know JACK about any of this. Call of Duty 4 came out in 2007 and I was 14 or 15 back then. Think of someone else who has been constantly playing Call of Duty since then and is now 19 going-on 20 -- the prime age to join the military. |
