Serious doubt about E3 flasher and Progskeet.
 

Well i get this PS3 from a friend = CECH 2501A.

What it's better to do, since in PS3devwiki says that sometimes you can downgrade this type of ps3.

My questions:

1) If i use E3 flasher in order to do downgrade i have to solder, or even i can use E3 flasher on this console? since it's NOR.

2) I have an spare progskeet (Another white one) but i don't see any tutorial regarding how to solder i can buy the solderless kit (clip from xbox360)

What can i do?

NAND? CECH-2xxxL (L= letter) is the format for slims. Slims never came with NAND... CECHLxx (L=letter) is the fat console format.

You have a NOR console on your hands there so 360 clips will not work with it.

What does the minimum version check pup say the mininum firmware is?

E3 works with slim up to 1A and there is a nor flasher that obviously is made for nor so you dont need solder to downgrade but for fast dual boot... I thought you knew this already :S

I knew, i have the data, but sometimes watching more than 9 threads at the time, can cause me:

1) Typo errors.
2) More typo errors and evident information that i know, i lost it for a time and then came back to my mind when i need it or i recheck what i wrote *facepalm*. Seems i have a faulty memory xD

Then you can definitely downgrade. :biggrin:
