To all the True Blue Haters...

Guys I am against True Blue, because they put a price on it.
Other than that it does awesome things, even if it was open source work they sceeved off of they still had to put in some brainwork to get it working. If all their work was stolen from open source work then it would be classified as accomplishable, meaning people could do it without reverse engineering the True Blue. But since no-one can do it and only the DRM producers can, it can only be stated that they are Devs that have added in some work.
Im still against that they had to put a pricetag (a heavy one for that matter) on it but hey we are living in a "Dog eat dog world".
Since its the only way to play the new games producers are so wonderful in making and still allow a homebrew enabled FW I am no longer going to bash TB owners about owning 1, and I wish I could get 1 but I am still in protest against it along with all the other anti-drm members!
So screw you True Blue! You are a awesome piece of $h!t!:hello:

"Another one bites the dust..."

Jeez, what ever happened to will-power? It's like the survivor of a plane crash eating the other survivors!

Meanwhile, I'm playing Max Payne 3 on my xbox! :)

SLOW MOTION GORE!

You cannot really blame people, it's been over a year since 3.55 was hacked and since then no updated cfws have been released apart from TB. TB is the only option, and there is nothing we can do about it.

We believe quite a few devs have sold out, we've got other teams releasing eboots for TB so they have sold out, and people dont have any other option but to sell-out and buy a TB in order to play the latest games.

Well TB is the only team interested in piracy, but it still requires 3.55 in order to work. The few devs left that are working on the ps3 are also still only working on 3.55, and of course they are there fore homebrew apps not piracy.

So if you want to pirate/backup your games, TB is the only answer, and seeing as there has been so little end-user progress in the scene you are forced to buy it.

So I dont think it's a case of will-power, people have waited long enough and it's clear there is no other way available. We've gone way past the stage of survivors eating other survivors, we're at the point where the last survivor is now eating their own arm :P

There is still hope.
I do believe there are still people working on the root key.
TB is just a premium place holder that allows users to play new
games while waiting for the smart people to do their work.

Staying on 3.55 is the important thing. ( for people who do not have a flasher )

should be moved to scene drama... didn't even waste my time reading it though... title gives it away.

I believe the true blue group has a reference machine not a dex. The reference machine even has its own firmware, double the RAM as a dex, and allows more access to system and with some work bootldr.
So either true blue is using that machine to dump the EBOOT from memory or they have found an exploit for boot loader and possess all the keys.
The reason why people in the scene who have dex's can't dump the EBOOT from memory is because of the extra access you get when having a reference machine. And reference machines cost US$10,000. So if someone wants to start up a donation for that I think the scene could get one and move forward.

So I do not regret my donation
