If you're buying a slim you need to replace the pcb under the dvd drive.

This will require some very minor soldering but basically you first dump your dvd drive's key using jungleflasher before doing the process, but once you have your key you can go ahead and replace the pcb. The colored wires coming from your original pcb can be de-soldered and re-soldered easily onto the new pcb, make sure that goes well and proceed to flashing LT 3.0 on your drive with jungleflasher.

The pcb will run about $50 and can be found at modchipcentral or sites like that...

For all slims after Oct. 2010, they require the pcb.

The burner is another issue, some people say it's necessary but personally: I burn games on 2 different computers and never get this supposed "error" so that's up to you if you want to buy it. It's not a program, the only program you will be using is named JUNGLEFLASHER :)

Just un-plug the slim, turn it around to see the back panel portion of the console. There you'll see a white strip with a serial number/barcode and manufacturer's date. :)

The seller just answered... It was made 2010-10-11 :) does this mean it can be flashed with lt+3.0 ??
